Colorado Min Wage Higher Than Fed

Colorado Minimum Wage Order Number 24 establishes a state minimum wage rate of $7.02 which is adjusted for inflation. The Colorado minimum wage for tipped employees is $4.00. The Federal Minimum wage increased to $6.55 on July 24.

Whenever employers are subject to both federal law and state law, the law providing the greater protection or setting the higher standard will apply, so Colorado workers get the boost.
